We are back to the open classroom design in this architectural photograph. I particularly like the view from the balcony and the natural light from the clearstory. It is so important to have an abundance of natural daylight in a library. While it is beneficial to have good natural light in almost any room, the library has special needs. Just try reading in the dark, or reading for hours under fluorescent lights. Now, wouldn’t you rather have natural daylight?
