The unstated job of an architectural photographer when shooting interior photographs for an interior designer is to convey the atmosphere of a room and to highlight its furnishings, furniture, wall treatments, etc. Interiors of residential units and dwellings will differ from either office interiors, or institutional interiors, i.e. schools, hospitals and clinics, museums. While the lighting conditions and the amount of ambient light will change from one type of interior to the next, details remain very important.
