As an architectural photographer in Seattle I have had the opportunity to go into different types of labs. Some are high school science rooms, some are technical biological laboratories, and some are medical operatories. The art of architectural photography has to blend with the skill of telling a unique story for each lab. Whether I am shooting for an engineer or for an architect, the photo must show function as well as form. The details will tell the story.
