Whether I'm dealing with old structures or new; classical styles or modern; a charming place or an efficient one; my approach to capturing a building remains the same: I begin by studying it's views under different times of day, then I try to highlight a dominant mood or feature. I think of each structure as a personality. I guess there's still a bit of a portrait photographer in me, trying to hide facial flaws and highlighting the good side,even though I am primarily an architectural photographer.
