Sometimes I am called on, in architectural photography, to set the stage for a story. Now the budget is never big like it is in advertising, actually, the budget for a staged photo in my line of work is generally zip. So hiring talent is out of the question. What I have done is work with the school’s administration and procured photogenic “honor students” to do my bidding and to listen to the lecture by the stand in teacher, in this case, the principle.
