Sometimes conditions and lighting will not be ideal when taking an architectural photograph of a school in the Pacific Northwest. The curve of the road mirrors the curve of the planter and these angles lead into the building. Add the elementary school students on their way to class, and there are enough elements in the picture to compliment the shape of the school building and offset the uncontrollable shadows cast by the contrasty light.
