In architectural photography, like industrial photography, a girdered structure needs to be composed in the camera perfectly. It wouldn’t do either the engineer nor the structure justice if I had had my camera tilted askew. Being that it is vertically straight, all the majesty of this pylon comes out. Red is a very bold color, and against the deep blue of the sky and the summer green of the lawn, one couldn’t ask for more vivid colors to highlight the black reader board.
