Time of day always affects an architectural photographer even when he is working inside. Often ambient light will supplement the interior lighting, and sometimes the view through a window or door is worthwhile to show in the picture. Whether or not to use tungsten lighting or strobe lighting is also, to some degree, dictated by the time of day. Strobes are used during daytime, while tungsten is favored at twilight. A giveaway as to which type of lights were used is the color below a window.
