Taking a good photograph of a residential home is to an architectural photographer what taking a good picture of a baby is to a portrait photographer. We are asked to do it often, to make the subject look great and to bring out its character. The needs of an architect, developer, or home builder for a good architectural photograph are many: marketing, proposals, competitions, or just plain for the record. Just as every mother wants a good visual memory of her baby, plus at least one great shot, so does the home owner.
