Ever notice how there is a pure quality about the color white? Maybe it is all in preconceived notions about the use of white: for wedding dresses, fine dining linen, old expressions like pure as the new fallen snow. We as architectural photographers have to allow just enough light for a proper exposure without damaging the details in the highlights.
