If you have been reading along you know I am writing this the day after a new pope was elected: Pope Benedict the XVI. I’m mentioning this again because the picture below is a Catholic Church. As an architectural photographer I have only been on one assignment to photograph a Catholic Church, but as a lay citizen, I’ve been inside some wondrous ones in Europe and have taken just snapshots, longing for the time and equipment to do them justice.
