Wherever I go as an architectural photographer or simply as a citizen, I always feel a sense of awe when I enter a church. In some ways it is the same sense of awe I experience when I am confronted by a natural wonder, like majestic mountains, or views from one of them, or water cascading down a fall. Maybe man can’t emulate God’s wonders, but he can sometimes create houses for God which also inspire our emotions.
