Skylights are great but they offer a challenge to an architectural photographer. Daylight doesn’t balance with other ambient light, but it does illuminate well. Often we will like the look of blue coming from a skylight in a photograph, particularly in a twilight photo. Somewhere in our brain, we associate the color blue with the outside, the sky, the open spaces.
